Through this groups, we use creativity to help children and adolescents with:

Therapeutic art group offer a unique path to healing and personal growth for everyone. It can specifically benefit those who find it hard to verbalize their feelings or process complex emotions.

Truancy Program

Regular absences from school can lead to damage to a child’s academic, social, and emotional well-being. Iris Family Support Center’s Truancy Program is here to address the root causes of truancy. This is an evidence-based therapeutic program with classes for parents and their children running concurrently so each person in the household gets the support they need to succeed.

The Iris Truancy Program focuses on:

- Supporting caregivers with tools and resources.

- Building stronger family-school connections.

- Preventing future legal or disciplinary issues.

- Helping families succeed together.

- Empowering and supporting students.

Parent Support Group

Parenting can be stressful we there is support for you in the community. Join the Allen County Family Resource Center for our Parent Support Group.

Share with and learn from other parents in the area. Parents or caregivers can receive incentives with every two groups you attend. This group meets each Thursday this month from 5 to 6 at the Allen County FRC, located at 5100 Gaywood Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46806.

Mom & Baby Wellness Wednesday

10 AM - 1 PM - Last Wednesday of Each Month (Last Tuesday in Nov. & Dec.)

Calling all moms and babies! Join us on the last Wednesday of every month for our Mom & Baby Wellness Wednesday from 10 to 1. Check your health, get connected to resources, find support for your child and receive diapers and wipes or hygiene products.

This event will be held on the final Tuesday of the month in November and December.
