Truancy Program
Regular absences from school can lead to damage to a child’s academic, social, and emotional well-being. Iris Family Support Center’s Truancy Program is here to address the root causes of truancy. This is an evidence-based therapeutic program with classes for parents and their children running concurrently so each person in the household gets the support they need to succeed.
The Iris Truancy Program focuses on:
- Supporting caregivers with tools and resources.
- Building stronger family-school connections.
- Preventing future legal or disciplinary issues.
- Helping families succeed together.
- Empowering and supporting students.

10 AM - 1 PM - Last Wednesday of Each Month (Last Tuesday in Nov. & Dec.)

Calling all moms and babies! Join us on the last Wednesday of every month for our Mom & Baby Wellness Wednesday from 10 to 1. Check your health, get connected to resources, find support for your child and receive diapers and wipes or hygiene products.
This event will be held on the final Tuesday of the month in November and December due to the holidays.
