Join us for our third annual Allen County Family Resource Center Trunk or Treat event. Come for free treats and to learn more about the programs in our community that support children and families.

Truancy Program

Regular absences from school can lead to damage to a child’s academic, social, and emotional well-being. Iris Family Support Center’s Truancy Program is here to address the root causes of truancy. This is an evidence-based therapeutic program with classes for parents and their children running concurrently so each person in the household gets the support they need to succeed.

The Iris Truancy Program focuses on:

- Supporting caregivers with tools and resources.

- Building stronger family-school connections.

- Preventing future legal or disciplinary issues.

- Helping families succeed together.

- Empowering and supporting students.
