We started out as a group of 11 community volunteers and have grown to encompass more than 38 Indiana counties, employing 130 individuals and providing services across the spectrum of child welfare.
This work would not be possible without an incredible team of humans dedicated to creating peace, empowering others, and equipping them with the tools they need for lasting success.
At Iris, we work with families in their time of greatest need. Often times, child abuse and neglect has taken place in the home, and children are afraid, scared to trust the people who are supposed to love them.

Employee Reviews
“My supervisors have been there for me, and have shaped how I am now. Whenever I'm in the office, my staff know it's an open-door policy. It’s a community, we work with these clients and it's not just on the job. After the cases we may see them out and about, I'm hoping that they're with their children and doing better. But why I really think we stand out is because we are a community, even with there being a Fort Wayne, Kokomo, and South Bend Region, I feel in some capacity we are one. We all share each other's struggles, if someone is struggling with a client there’s probably somebody over here in South Bend experiencing something too, so I just feel a great sense of community that I haven't felt in ANY other job ever!”
